Choreographer

From 1987 to 1995, Bruno Pradet works as an electrical Engineer in the building construction. He works on large projects such as Opera Bastille, Bibliothèque de France, Opera Garnier…

 He began dance when he was 18 years old, during his studies in an electrical High School in Paris.

In 1995, he gives up his first line of work to become dancer and choreographer full time.

He performed as dancer in France with Richard Mouradian (1989/1992), Didier Théron (1995/2003) and Hervé Diasnas (1996/2005). With these choreographers, he performed all over France and in many other countries (Portugal, Italy, Armenia, Czechoslovakia, Germany, Japan, Peru, Nicaragua, and Mozambique).

For six years (1995/2001) he was also co-choreographer of “Compagnie du Pied Gauche”, creating and performing 4 pieces.

Since  2001, he works mainly for his own group, “Company Vilcanota”, creating and performing several pieces : Confession, solo 2001 ; Chaos intime, duet 2002 ; Décidément… and Alors quoi…, quartets 2003 ; Show room, duet 2004 ; PaRoLe De MuEt, trio 2004 ; Reproduction interdite, quintet, 2005 ; (HBDP)2  duet with Hervé Diasnas, 2007 ; Pousse toi !, duet, 2008 ; Doré d’eau in 2007;  Des cailloux sous la peau, quartet 2009; Boby boy, duet 2010, New Town, quartet 2013 and  L’homme d’habitude,  2013 with 4 dancers and 7 musicians, People what people? , 2016 with 7 dancers, Laisse tomber la nuit, 2018 for two dancers and one musician/singer, TumulTe, 2020 with 5 dancers and 4 musicians/singers.

 

 With Vilcanota, he performs all over France as well as in Europe.

 

His work can be qualified by the presence of words, of the absurd and of a deep look on human behaviours.
